An 8p preview of Scheme Comix. Dead Beat 74 Strip by Kev Harper.

The purpose for publishing Scheme is to showcase the best unknown artists working out of the city of Glasgow, and the best way to make sure the work reaches as many people as possible is to give away each issue for free.

As you can imagine this makes the economics of getting each issue out more than difficult but it's got to be done. I think Comics can be very cliquish when it should be the exact opposite so sometimes Scheme has a colour cover sometimes it doesn't, sometimes there's a big page count sometimes there isn't it all depends on what we can afford to print, all that matters is that the work is out there.

The one thing you can always rely on is the quality inside.
